About Us
We are Kevin & Elaine Robinson, a couple of '40-somethings' who escaped the rat-race and for the last 3 years have been enjoying running a Bed & Breakfast in the South of France. In our spare time indulge in our love of walking by exploring many of the beautiful trails of this region.

We are now combining our business and pleasure and would love to introduce you to 'Walking the Languedoc'.

Some of our Walks:

Cirque de Mourèze & Mont Liausson
The walk that started our love affair with the region. Starting with a stroll through the magnificent Cirque de Mourèze (an 800 acre natural amphitheatre of dolomitic rock columns and formations) you can
then choose how far you want to walk and how high you want to climb! If you choose to go to the top of Mont Liausson (a climb of approx’ 350m)
you will rewarded with stunning views of Lac du Salagou and the mountains to the north, and the coastal plain and Mediterranean to the south.

The Garrigue
The intersection of several recognised local trails mean that you can choose the length of your walk from 3 – 30km and this, combined with gentle hills and good paths winding through the beautiful garrigue (mediterranean hinterland of pine forests, wild herbs & heather) and vineyards between the villages of Castelnau-de-Guers, Aumes, & Montagnac, make this an ideal walk for all abilities.

Lac du Salagou
Our favorite! Starting at the dam that was constructed in 1968 to create this beautiful lake, a short tour below the dam and then a climb of 200M takes you along the ridge and then back down for a gentle ramble along the lakeshore, before climbing back up to the grand bassalt quarry and returning via the dam itself.

Canal du Midi
No visit to this region would be complete without taking the time to stroll along the towpaths of the canal du midi. In this area you can include such sites along the way, as the magnificent series of 7 locks at Beziers, the Oppidium d’Ensérune (the remains of a 6th century settlement with a museum and wonderful views of an ancient lake and the surrounding countryside), pretty villages and wine tasting.

Further afield
For the more adventurous a drive of around an hour from ‘Les Olives’ opens up the Monts de l’Espinouse where spectacular gorges and strenuous climbs create some of the best serious hiking that you are likely to encounter.
